This week, the Westpoint group announced the divestiture of their small animal and equine veterinary practices and a commitment to further invest in UK livestock agriculture; growing their group which is focused on production animal health and welfare.
Moving forward the production animal businesses will be known under the umbrella brand of Origin. Excellence and innovation in client service continues to be the focus throughout the organisation and Origin will underpin their industry leading position.
The group which includes veterinary practices providing services to pig, poultry, dairy, beef, sheep, game bird producers and small holders, is supported by animal health laboratories, active R&D and knowledge exchange teams.
